Introduction to the disadvantages of glass insulator
- Feb 26, 2018 -

The raw material used for making glass insulator, in its own composition, is more stable than the raw material used in porcelain, which creates good conditions for stabilizing the electrical and mechanical properties of the glass.
Due to the transparency of the glass, small cracks and various internal defects and injuries are easily found in the inspection of the shape.
The mechanical and electrical properties of tempered glass are much higher than that of porcelain, which makes the same type of insulator, and its size and weight are much smaller than that of porcelain insulator.
