Anti Vibration Damper

The vibration damper is designed to reduce the vibration caused by the wind force. High voltage overhead lines have higher pole positions and larger span. Vibration will occur when conductors are subjected to wind force. When conductor vibrates, the working condition of conductor suspension is most unfavorable. Due to repeated vibration, the conductor will suffer fatigue damage due to periodic bending. When the overhead line is more than 120 meters away, the vibration damper is generally used to prevent vibration.

On high voltage overhead lines, a small damper is often hung on the conductor near the insulator. This damper is called a vibration damper, which is designed to reduce the vibration of the conductor due to wind pulling. High voltage overhead lines have higher pole positions and larger span.
